It discusses the things you think are important and interesting. It allows you to show people all over the world what you are all about. Blogs also allow you to network with other people's blogs and networks. It gives you a podium to share your ideas and for your friends and readers to comment and discuss what they've read. Overall, blogs give you a more personal approach to what you think is important, while traditional web pages choose for you what someone else thinks is important.
